Magento Integration Steps

Steps for integrating Findify with Magento

Findify Magento Integration

Important note: you would need to install and set up Magento Plugin to complete the integration

To integrate Findify into your shop you'll need to follow the steps listed below:

  • Select a plan and follow all the steps needed to create a Findify account.
  • Install the Findify Magento extension. Instructions on how to install and configure the extension can be found here.

Create an account in our system

  1. Go to our Registration Page
  2. Select Magento
  3. Enter you name, email and store url. The store url value should not contain https:// or http:// prefix, e.g. www.example.com or example.com are both valid
  4. You wil receive an email to validate your account. Click the confirmation link and proceed to the next steps.

Provide more information about your shop

  1. Select feed language: This is an important step as we analyze your feed using a specific analyzer for each language and frontend will be translated accordingly. If you don't find the language you need, contact us at [email protected]
  2. Choose the timezone that your shop is in. This is mainly for analytics to be calculated correctly.
  3. Choose the currency of your store.

We don't support multiple currencies for the same store at the moment, unless you can do the conversion on the frontend. If you need multiple currencies, you would need to have a separate feed generated for each currency.

Provide a valid product feed

Instructions to generate the product feed can be found here.

As soon as the link to the feed appears (you would need to refresh the page if the link does not show), copy the link, you will need to paste it in the input for this step.

Paste the JS link in the Magento extension.

At the end of the onboarding, a link to a JS file will be displayed. Copy this link and come back to the Magento Findify extension. Paste this link into the block "JS Integration" (in the view scope) and check the box "Enabled".

Last step is to connect to the Findify Merchant Dashboard when the store is onboarded. Go to the section Settings page and make sure that the status of Findify is set to "Live" there.

Findify should be live in your store now!
