Smart collection analytics
All analytics data in this guide was generated randomly and might not reflect the data that you will see in the your Dashboard
Selecting proper date range
If you're going to check analytics every week, it's best to narrow down all analytics to previous week, so that you can monitor and compare them to previous weeks
Constantly monitoring Smart collection analytics can help identifying issues and low-converting collections and adjust the ordering or change collection configuration. Collection pages are usually the most viewed pages of the store, so it's crucial to squeeze as much as possible from them.
Top collections
The report shows top smart collections by traffic with corresponding e-commerce metrics. You can spot poorly performing collections and then apply pinning or merchandising rules to manipulate the ordering or adjust smart collection settings to show different products.
You can see that stealth-pipes collection is not converting, although it has relatively high traffic. You can check what products are shown and their ordering in the incognito mode of your browser and adjust it with Pinning and merchandising rules. You can also adjust the settings of the smart collections to show more or less products there.
Top filters
As in the search, you can see what filters people are using in the smart collections and adjust there setup and configuration. Pushing popular filters to the top will make it easier for your customers to find what they are looking for, thus reducing the time to purchase.
In this case you can see that the price filter is widely used, so you can push it to the top of the filter list for easier user navigation
