Synonyms

Your Synonyms tool will tell your search to return results for product X, even if query Y was submitted in the search box.
For example, if your customer searches for cell phone, but all your products are labeled with mobile phone, they would usually get 0 results.
Creating a simple synonyms list with cell phone and mobile will ensure your customers find relevant products no matter what terminology or jargon they use.

To add your own custom synonyms, simply add all related synonyms to a common list, like the follow examples:

sneakers, runners, running shoes
headphones, earphones, earbuds
all-in-one printer, multifunction printer

To create a synonym group visit the Solutions -> Search -> Synonyms section of the Merchant Dashboard.
